Improvements at Arthritis Health

The practitioners and staff at Arthritis Health are always striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of care. We implemented a new electronic medical records and practice management system in February. This new system will help us provide the most accurate and efficient way for us to manage your health care needs including increased connectivity with laboratories, pharmacies, hospitals and your other health care providers.

During this transition, we have experienced a few challenges including delays in Medicare billing and increased waiting times in the office. This is what we are doing to address these issues.

Medicare Billing Delays:
The Medicare billing issues have been resolved as of early May and patients should start seeing their reimbursements shortly. Medicare will be sending out checks within three weeks of the corrections implemented. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and are appreciative of all the patience you have shown us during this transition.

Office Visits Delays;
The waiting times have been addressed with a revision of our schedules includes earlier and later office hours (8-4:40 Monday through Friday) and more time allotted for each visit. We also have limited Saturday hours during the summer (one Saturday a month) and will be starting electronic visits in June. You can schedule an E-Visit with Dr. Howard for a phone or Skype consultation. You can contact us to set up a visit.

From all the staff at Arthritis Health, we thank you for your patience and continued trust in the care we provide.
